Yoga of The Subtle Body: The Five Vayus
with: Lindsay Sullivan
time: Saturday, May 1; 4:00 to 6:00 pm
cost: $30
In yoga we use our physical bodies to access and awaken the subtlest, stillest, and most blissful parts of ourselves — sometimes without realizing what we are doing! In Yoga of the Subtle Body, learn how we can use the Vayus, or the body’s natural energetic corridors, in our asana, breathwork, and meditation to push our practice to the next stage, speeding up our own physical, emotional, and spiritual evolution. Learn in a practical way how to use YOUR prana — or life-force — to gain wisdom and compassion, bringing stillness and bliss to your life, both on and off the mat.
This workshop will include asana and meditation designed to ignite the inner and outer methods of Yoga and an explanation of the ever-mysterious subtle body of Vayus, Prana, Channels, and Chakras. Lindsay is a student of Kelly Morris and a graduate of The Conquering Lion Teacher Training program. She also studies with Angela, Christina and Stephanie at Mala Yoga and is currently in training at The Yoga Studies Institute under Kimberley Veenhof, Ted Lafferty and Mira Shani. She also practices and teaches Tibetan Buddhism in the Gelupka Lineage.
Drop ins are welcome for this workshop, or you can pre-register at the front desk.
