with: Lindsay Sullivan
when: Saturday, July 24th; 4:00pm
cost: $30.00
Yoga is a practice designed thousands of years ago to offer true happiness- physically, mentally and emotionally- in one’s life. We feel glimpses of it after a deep, beautiful class. How do we sustain this? How can we use our practice to makes both ourselves and others truly happy? We need to use BOTH our physical body and our subtle (or energy) body to crack this mystery open.
Ignite your physical practice with Yoga of The Subtle Body: Inner Fire! This workshop is based on Tibetan Heart Yoga Series 3, a 500 year-old practice that combines deep experience of the subtle body with unique Tibetan and traditional Hatha Yoga. Focusing on the crucial center at the core of your being, the svadistana chakra, awaken your energy body with a physical asana practice that incorporates, breath, meditation and visualization of the “four infinite thoughts” from Master Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra – infinite love, infinite joy, infinite compassion, and equanimity. This workshop will also include an explanation of the three main channels and the chakra points that make up the subtle body. Open to all levels – expect to sweat!
