Welcome to Mala Yoga’s Blog
In our efforts to support our community Mala Yoga is happy to announce the launch of our blog. This is another way to keep you posted on what’s going on in the Mala Yoga community, from events at the studio to taking your yoga practice off the mat, to highlighting our amazing teachers and students.
As you know from our homepage, we are so happy to announce the arrival of baby Beckett and so grateful for both his and Stephanie’s health. I remember one of the first yoga classes I ever took from Christina (Hatgis), it was a horribly early class (7am- ha ha) and I made it there although I’d rather have stayed in bed that morning. So I sat down on my blanket and closed my eyes. She then asked us to think of one thing in our life that we were grateful for. Just one thing. She went on to say that no matter what is happening in our lives or in our world, no matter our financial stresses or emotional upheavals, all we had to do was think of one thing that we have gratitude for and watch our list grow from there. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to welcome Beckett into our world and we are grateful to the love and support the Mala community has given to Beckett, Stephanie (Creaturo) & Jeff (Ballow). And the list goes on…
Stephanie is on her maternity leave. Please check the website schedule page for updates on who ‘s subbing when. It’s summer and there will be lots of fantastic subbing going! Please take this great opportunity to sample classes with our talented teachers.
