The Surya Namaskar A (Sun Salutations, Version A) sequence is common in intermediate/advanced level yoga classes. By breaking down the vinyasa (flow) of Surya Namaskar A, the body can learn the proper alignment of and transitions between each pose in this traditional series.

This class will cover:

  • Learning how to “jump back” and “jump forward”
  • Transitioning from chaturanga dandasana (four-limbed staff pose) to urdhva mukha svanasana (upward-facing dog pose)
  • Proper use of props to strengthen the arms, open the shoulders, and stabilize the low back

This is a great workshop if you are:
Ready to transition from basics to intermediate/advanced level classes
A seasoned student looking to review your alignment and movement patterns

$20/no class cards
