Tara Glazier

Tara Glazier (Anusara Certified) was introduced to yoga over 11 years ago. Tara graduated with honors from North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied the art and technique of Classical Ballet. She went on to dance in affiliation with the Hartford Ballet while receiving her BFA in Ballet Pedagogy and Dance Performance. Tara has been teaching yoga since 2001 in and around New York City. She is committed to the method and the deep, therapeutic teachings of Anusara Yoga. She has successfully received her full Anusara certification. Tara studies around the globe with John Friend, the founder of Anusara, as well as other top Anusara teachers. With reverence she honors all the teachers at Virayoga, John Friend, and philosophy teacher Douglas Brooks. Tara’s class is challenging, yet detailed and invigorating. When Tara is not teaching yoga she is bringing her love of dance to public school students at Ballet Tech, where she is the Artistic Director.
