Mala Yoga is hosting two special events on Saturday, December 12th!
- It’s time for the annual food drive class (4:00pm) where we will get the chance to slow down our practice and restore our energy to finish out the year without feeling depleted. (we will accept 3 cans of food for that class ) This year we’re raising food for the Red Hook Initiative, a non-profit organization that works to alleviate the effects of inter generational poverty in Red Hook, Brooklyn through employment, advocacy, and education. The price of class is three cans of food. A food bank recently closed in Red Hook, so the Initiative needs our donations. You can still donate food and not attend the class.
- Mala Yoga’s holiday party (6:00pm) plus a trunk show of Spiritual Gangster and Hyde’s awesome and organic clothes, and Manduka’s durable and eco-friendly mats. Plus cookies from One Girl Cookies! While you are out shopping for everybody else, stop by that evening to find something for yourself. Or just stop by to say hello and chill out with us and enjoy a glass of wine.
