Any basics class will suit new students. Be sure to let the teacher know that you're brand new to the practice.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow for freedom of movement. Yoga is best practiced in bare feet, so be prepared to leave your socks in the closet! If you don't own a yoga mat, you can rent one for $1. All other yoga props - blankets, blocks, straps and towels - are provided free of charge.
No, you do not have to pre-register for classes. You are able to sign up online in advance for all classes.
On the weeknights and weekends, it's best to arrive 10-15 minutes before class to ensure your spot.
If we offer a special class or a series (like Bija Kids Yoga), we will specify if you need to preregister.
Yes, it is recommended you pre-register for workshops. You can do this either online through your MindBody Online account, or at the front desk at the studio.
That's exciting! Yes, you can buy a series of classes. We sell class series in the following denominations: 5 class, 10 class, and 20 class. There's also the monthly unlimited, which is a good deal if you come 4 times a week. Here's the fine print, though: All class cards have expiration dates. We will not extend the expiration date on your class series. So, please know that before you buy a series of classes.
