Claire began practicing yoga eight years ago in an attempt to address physical back and neck problems. It was especially appealing as a positive way to deal with her physical challenges, and allowed her to be more in control of her recovery. The physical benefits came steadily and Claire began to deepen and increase her practice. A desire to know more about yoga, the physical as well as the subtler mental benefits, led her to complete yoga teacher training at The Energy Center in Brooklyn. She is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching since 2004. Claire enjoys teaching and sharing her love of yoga, especially with new students.
