Thank You Mala Community

Published on January 22nd, 2010

As you may know by now, community is something we at Mala feel very strongly about. Since we opened our doors, we have been committed to raising money for and donating food to many different charities and not-for-profit organisations locally and nationally . All this could not be done without the amazing compassion of the Mala Sangha (community). We are  grateful to all those who contributed  to extending our sangha out to Haiti in their time of need. We have raised over $200.00 and will be donating the proceeds to Partners in Health.

Thank you for all you do,
Christina, Stephanie & Angela

All proceeds will go to Partners in Health – Thank You!

New Year Meditation with Ricki Jean

Published on December 19th, 2009

when: Saturday, January 9th;  4:00pm
cost: $30.00

Join us on Saturday as we greet the New Year together within our meditation practice. In this guided meditation we will reflect on 2009, on the way life has changed for and around us, through both the challenges and celebrations that have brought us to our present experience.

We close the door to the past year so we may step firmly into the year ahead. Through this heart- centered practice, Ricki Jean helps us connect to a sense of renewal, inspiration and creativity. This meditation is an invitation to open to a deeper awareness of what this New Year holds for each of us, and to set the intention of what we each can bring forward into life.

All levels of experience welcome. Please bring journal and pen.

Ricki Jean Trink teaches weekly and monthly meditation at Mala Yoga. Her classes are built on the practice of Heart Centered Meditation which channels energy through the 4th Chakra, connecting us to compassion, balance, harmony, healing and a deeper relationship to our true self. She helps students to find consistent grounding and broader awareness that moves beyond the meditation seat to benefit us in day to day life.
