NO REFUNDS OR CARRY OVERS TO NEW BUSINESS!

Thank you for respecting the final chapter of Mala Yoga - we appreciate it!

It is with mixed emotions that we tell you that, on December 16, 2018, Mala Yoga, as you know it, will close.

Our building was sold, and, after 11 years, we’re using this transition as opportunity to take a much-needed break.  We wanted to go out on a high note, and we are: for more than a decade, our studio has thrived in a wonderful neighborhood that has seen so much change, and we feel closer to our community than ever before.

For 11 years, we remained a small, locally and female-owned business with no outside investors. Our studio was built from a small email list and a simple concept: show up and teach. Learn your name and say hello. Be on your team, teach in a way that you learned about your body, and build a practice that works for you.

We love what we do, and we hope you felt our passion, enthusiasm, and desire to serve you best in every class we taught. We’re so proud of two things: the community that you helped us to build and the way each of you has built your practices. It’s been super cool to see!  You continue to be our greatest teachers, and we can never thank you enough.

This is not good-bye!

We’re currently hard at work on a new business model that builds on Mala's evolution. And to do the new business justice, to give it time to incubate in a way it deserves, we realized that it needs our full attention. As such, we’re taking a long-over-due pause to devote all of our time and energy into creating something new and exciting that will serve your needs better than ever. We’re excited about what the future holds, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

If you want to keep up with what’s next, make sure to follow us on Instagram (@malayoganyc) or drop us a note. We’d love to hear from you.

With a deep bow of gratitude, Steph & Angela
